Pune, formerly known as Poona until 1978, is the second-largest metropolitan city in Maharashtra. Pune is the eighth-most populous city in India. Having a 7.4 million population Pune is considered to be “the most livable city in India“.Pune is supposed to be the second major “IT hub of India”  and also the top “automobile and manufacturing hub of India“. Although most of the part of Wada was destroyed by a huge fire in 1828, what remains of it is equally thrilling and majestic.

It is believed that on a full moon night the fort becomes haunted by the ghost of a former Peshwa king Narayanrao, who was murdered in the palace by his aunt and uncle – Anandi and Raghunathrao. This grand palace is famous for the famed romance between Peshwa Bajirao and Mastani Sahiba.

Aga Khan Palace:

Aga Khan Palace was constructed by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III in the year 1892. In the history of India, this palace is located in a prominent space as one of the biggest landmarks in India.
