This monastery is originally named the Dharma Chakra Centre. This monastery belongs to the Kargyu sect of Buddhists who originated in Tibet in the 12th century. Yuksom:

It is also the base camp for some of the most adventurous treks in Sikkim. Yuksom village is historically significant to the Sikkimese, with the first Chogyal crowned here in 1642. Goecha La:

The peak is a beautiful destination for all the trekkers visiting Sikkim. The high mountain peak of Goecha la is one of the best places to visit in Sikkim.
