Birla Mandir:

Birla Mandir is among the most popular and visited temples in Rajasthan. It is also known as Lakshmi-Narayan Temple. It is situated at the base of Moti Dungari hill in Jaipur. This temple is built by dedication to Lord Vishnu and Mata Laxmi. They are believed to bring good luck and fortune to the Hindu religion. Birla family constructed this temple in the 20th century.

This temple is one of the beautiful and amazing temples in Rajasthan as well as in India. This temple has three domes that represent the three main religions of India, are Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity. This temple spread the message of secularism. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

Brahma Mandir:

Brahma temple is known as Jagatpita Brahma Mandir. It is situated near pious Puskar lake, Puskar in Rajasthan. This gorgeous temple is built using marble and stone slabs. It is believed to be 2000 years old and dedicated to Lord Brahma. There is a picture of Brahma and his wife Gayatri, which is worshipped. This temple is the place of monkeys. In the courtyard, everywhere on temple premises, it is a roaming area of monkeys. It has features like rounded roofs, painted walls, and carved pillars. There is seven holy water tank. Among them, the Galatji tank is the main. The water of the tanks is crystal clear. Those tanks get water from natural springs, which are located on the temple premises. 

Karni Mata Temple:

The temple Karni Mata Temple is dedicated to Siren Mata Karni, considering to be Goddess Durga. Karni Mata Temple is placed at Deshnoke near Bikaner. This temple is built-in 20th century. Maharaja Ganga Singh constructed it in Mughal style. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

The temple is also known as the “Rat Temple” or the “Temple of Rats“. It is famous for the inhabitation of around 20000 black rats, called “Kabbas“. Tourists of the temple place the bowl on the floor of milk to feed the rats every day. It is not only the inhabitant of the rat, the rats are worshipped as the deity of the temple.

Salasar Balaji Temple:

Salasar Balaji temple, which is also known as Salasar Dam is one of the attractions of Rajasthan, is among the famous temples in Rajasthan. This temple is placed in  Salasar town in the Churu area. Without visiting Salasar Balaji temple, no pilgrimage tour is completed. This temple is dedicated to the celibate God Lord Hanuman and worshipped through all over the year. The number of pilgrims increases, especially during Chaitra Purnima and Ashvin Purnima.

This temple has an interesting mythological story behind it. According to the villagers of Mehandipur, the village was troubled by regular attacks of demons. One day, the priest had a dream in which Lord Hanuman. He was suggested to dig the Aravalli hills in a specially chosen area. A childhood idol of Hanumanji with beard and mustache revealed. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

Ranakpur Jain Temple:

Ranakpur Jain Temple holds a marvelous natural beauty. It is situated between Jodhpur and Udaipur, in the beautiful town Ranakpur.  It covers a 48,000 sq, ft area. This temple is dedicated to Lord Adinath, Jains’ initial Tirthankar. It is made of marble. It has 4 temples, 29 pillared halls, 80 domes, and 1,444 carved pillars.

A 6ft tall statue of Lord Adinath is the main attraction of this temple. Surya Temple, Chaumukha Temple, Parshvanath Temple, and Amba Mata Temple surround this temple. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

Eklingji Temple:

Shri Eklingji Temple is the most revered and visited temple in Rajasthan. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Shri Eklingji Temple has a unique and distinctive identity as a symbol of Hinduism. This temple is placed approx 22 km away from Udaipur in the beautiful town of Kailashpuri.

Bappa Rawal built the original temple in the 8th century. While constructing a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Rana Kumbha reconstructed it in the 15th century. It is a two-storied temple. It has a pyramidal-shaped roof.  The roof houses a large silver image of Shiva’s bull, Nandi. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

Rani Sati Temple: 

Rani Sati Temple is dedicated to Rani Sati, also known as Dadi Ji, is among the famous temples in Rajasthan. It is located in the Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. The temple is also known as Shree Rani Sati Dadi Mandir. The temple is dedicated to Rani Ji’s heroism and bravery, with immense pride and devotion. The Temple is made of marble and also has various colorful wall paintings. Rani Sati is also called Narayani Devi.

Rani Sati had committed Sati on her husband’s pyre. A notable feature of the temple is, there is no existence of any statue of  Male God or Female Goddess. Instead, there is a trident in the sanctum sanctorum which is the symbol of Power and Strength. There are some temples, namely the Hanuman temple, Sita temple, Lord Shiva Temple and Lord Ganesh temple, etc surround this temple. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

Ambika Mata Temple: 

Ambika Mata Temple is situated in Jagat Village at a distance of 50 km from Udaipur of Rajasthan. This temple is dedicated to Ambika Mata who is considered to be the goddess Durga. This is one of the famous temples in Rajasthan.

It is said to the theme of the temple is the Palace of Mountain, which is believed to be the dwelling of gods and goddesses. There are many sculptures of gods and goddesses, musicians, court dancers, and apsaras in the temple. The marvelous carvings of the temple have a similarity with the renowned Khajuraho temple of Madhya Pradesh.
